Paving Operations to begin - Friday, October 5, 2018

The City of Amsterdam/New Castle Paving announces that paving is scheduled to commence on Friday, October 5, 2018.   Parking will be prohibited on the following posted streets, during paving operations,beginning Friday at 6:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. or until complete, weather permitting.

Residents of streets to be paved will be given sufficient prior notice to remove parked vehicles from posted streets.  All illegally parked vehicles on posted streets to be paved will be towed at owner’s expense.


Motorists should use extra caution when traveling on streets under construction and take alternate routes if possible.
