Ismael Santiago enlisted in the US Army in June 1977 and served until February 2015 as Primary Specialty’s 92G40 Food Service Specialist, 11B40 Infantryman, Calvary Scout, Instructor Liaison LNO and NCO. His long career of 37 years has taken him to many cities within the US as well as globally. He has served in Germany, Honduras, Kuwait and his last tour was in Balad Iraq, Camp Anaconda supporting Operation Enduring Freedom, Noble Eagle, and Iraqi Freedom. He is also a volunteer fire fighter with the Hagaman Volunteer Fire Department. Besides his service to his country and community, he is the best father, husband, brother in law, and friend anyone could have.
