Established as a bird sanctuary by the Century Club of Amsterdam, this wooded area borders the Amsterdam Municipal Golf Course and contains a wonderful large wooden playground constructed by volunteers in the community who actively maintain and upkeep this rare gem.

Sasafrass includes a hiking trail, have fun exploring.
