The City of Amsterdam owns and operates an Olympic sized swimming pool from late June through late August for residents and visitors to use at their leisure.

Mohawk Valley Gateway Overlook Bridge
Dedicated on August 31st, 2016 by New York State Lieutenant Governor Kathleen Hochul, accompanied by Congressman Paul Tonko (the main proponent of the project), the bridge was the culmination of over a decade of planning, funding, design, and construction.

Municipal Golf Course
Since 1938 residents in the City of Amsterdam have had the luxury of a beautiful golf course. Designed by legendary golf course designer Robert Trent Jones, Sr. Residents can enjoy an beautiful 18 hole golf course right in the city.
