Urban Renewal Agency
The Urban Renewal Agency facilitates a broad range of community renewal and investment projects in the City.

Amsterdam Industrial Development Agency
The Amsterdam Industrial Development Agency or AIDA was created for the purpose of assisting in the creation and retention of both employment opportunities and businesses in the City of Amsterdam.

Amsterdam-Florida-Glen Empire Zone
The Amsterdam-Florida-Glen Empire Zone program is designed to stimulate economic growth. The Empire Zone Program's goal is to make New York State more competitive and stimulate economic growth through a variety of State tax incentives designed to attract new businesses to New York and to enable existing businesses to expand and create more jobs.

Downtown Development Committee:
The City of Amsterdam has focused efforts on the development of the downtown area in hopes of revitalizing what was once a great area to visit here in Amsterdam. The committee is comprised of area business people and volunteers that are interested in the potential for a thriving downtown.
