Amsterdam Waterfront Heritage Area BOA Nomination

The City of Amsterdam was awarded funding from the NYS Department of State through the Brownfield Areas (BOA) program to complete a Nomination for the Waterfront Heritage Area (WHA). The WHA includes properties located in the City’s South Side and downtown neighborhoods, and is characterized by former mills, brownfields, and vacant and underutilized sites located along the Mohawk River waterfront.
